Mt.
Kilimanjaro
Tanzania is home to Africa's highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro.
It's snow-capped summit looms majestically at 5,985 M. and, if you
are lucky, can be seen from great distances. Despite its height,
most physically fit people are able to climb Kilimanjaro as no mountaineering
skills or equipment are required. Our expert professional guides
will assure you the experience of a lifetime on any of the routes.
This climb can be done any time of the year except during the long
rains of April and May it is not recommended.
Trekking
Some of the most magnificent scenery and contrasts to be found in
the world await those of you who choose to trek from the Ngorongoro
Crater Highlands to Lake Natron. This 65 Km trek over 4-7 days that
takes you places that have to be seen to be believed, rewards you
at the end with a visit to a marvelous waterfall where you can take
a swim to cool off. Then enjoy Lake Natron, the breeding ground
of the lesser flamingoes in the Rift Valley. For the enthusiast,
a climb of Tanzania's active volcano, Oldoinyo Lengai (2,873 M)
is an option. Tanzania is blessed with many other places to walk
or hike while at the same time having the opportunity to meet some
of its over 120 ethnic groups who graciously receive you into their
villages and homes. Customize your holiday to include a taste of
our culture! Even a short day trip will be fondly remembered.
